The La Costa Wild Bird and Hummy-Cam

Like this cam? Then please leave us some email about it; it means a lot to us!

The La Costa Hummy-Cam is located in La Costa-Carlsbad, California. Our little visitors are usually "Anna's" or "Costa's" Hummingbirds. The best time to look for them has been synced with our viewing times. However patience is required: Nature does not appear and perform on cue!

[NOTE: As darkness is falling earlier, we may tinker with the times the cam is on so as to catch the hummers when they are most active. Currently we are usually on the air from 3PM to 7:00 PM local, or 2300 UTC to 0200 UTC.]

On some days we have to use the cam for other purposes, so if you don't see us active on one particular day, it doesn't mean we're permanently down.

Due to the installation of new Camarades software, our former visitor counters are, unfortunately, reset. The photo gallery and visitor log have been kludged as well. Just add 2006 to what you see on the counter, and for the rest, well, start filling it up, folks! :)
